ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. I love little vintage trailers. In 1970, I had a 16' Aristocrat - I sure wished I had it now. Love your redo - they are so neat.
ReplyDeleteWished I didn't lived in the Midwest (Indiana).
Hugs,
Connie
I love your trailer- Just darling. I am just fascinated by them. I have re-habbed houses for years and I think it would be fun to restore one of these for fun. I don't know but your little Shasta just has such a peaceful, serene look about her. It made me think of the name Serena. Whatever you call her- she is beautiful! Hugs-Diana
ReplyDeleteLove this and the name Buttercup as we have a 61 Compact named Baby Buttercup (: I'd love to exchange blog links with you if you'd like. I'll hop over and get you added. I am really enjoying both this blog about the whole trailer obsession (I can SO relate) and the other one you have about junk (another passion of mine).

I would call me "green with envy" LOL.. I have a mystery, un-named, old tin can myself. I could not pass her up and she is now sitting in a lovely space in my yard. I am starting to work on her and have so many ideas...but where to start LOL.... I want to take her out on the road next summer..meanwhile, my grandkids think that they have the greatest clubhouse ever...

Amy, I love your buttercup. If I had the cash I would come get it this minute! Valerie
ReplyDeleteDo you have photos of the inside of your Aladin?
ReplyDeleteShe is the exact color of those old fashioned buttermint...so how about "Buttermint"? I've just started a blog about my vintage trailer named Petunia. I'm still working on the blog layout and am new to the blog world.
ReplyDeleteAweee sooo pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteI love them all!!
Now I want one!
Cheers from the East Coast!
I'm your newest follower. I love vintage trailers. Friends have one on their pumpkin farm and it's fabulous. Thanks for sharing these beauties.
ReplyDeleteDo you have more info about the trailers, like how much they weigh. (I need to know if I can tow it). Also, they are all road- ready?
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful...I'd christen her "Genie" - for obvious reasons, of course!! :)
ReplyDeleteI would call her "Lacie" or "Lacey" she is beautiful!! as are the others. I just purchased a 1970 Shasta and redid her into a theme that reflects our lifestyle with horses. I named her after my grandmother and a cousin who have both passed, yet shared my passion for country things. You can see Pearlie Rose at my blogspot and let me know what you think. I have really enjoyed your vintage trailers. thanks for posting.
